A collision led to University of Rochester getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dale Kirkpatrick hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Jerson Gonzales notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of University of Rochester's Drew Casey. Drew Casey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the match, University of Rochester's Dale Kirkpatrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lyle Flanagan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremiah Samuels hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Bart Timmons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerson Gonzales in the 18th minute of play forced University of Rochester's goalkeeper Drew Casey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. University of Rochester's Drew Casey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Möller in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Möller in the 24th minute of play forced University of Rochester's goalkeeper Drew Casey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerson Gonzales in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in University of Rochester's zone, Reginaldo Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew Casey came out of the goal and Reginaldo Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dale Kirkpatrick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drew Casey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Möller in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Bart Timmons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig-Ove Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Ove Möller made a kick off. Drew Casey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Timmons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th play minute Bart Timmons came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Drew Casey. 0-2. Jeremiah Samuels kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Reginaldo Dias in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye University of Rochester's goalie prevented a goal. Dale Kirkpatrick struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lyle Flanagan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for University of Rochester. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina was substituted for Bart Timmons. When Giuseppe Conway came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giuseppe Conway couldn't finish the play. A collision led to University of Rochester getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Babbis Moisakos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Medina in the 73rd minute of play forced University of Rochester's goalkeeper Drew Casey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match University of Rochester got a corner. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wawrzyniec Damaski ran over to the corner to take the kick. University of Rochester's Wawrzyniec Damaski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lyle Flanagan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Kirkpatrick in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lyle Flanagan saved EL LOBO DE MIAMI from getting behind. After 82 minutes University of Rochester's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jerson Gonzales who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Gordie Mosquera heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Drew Casey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Möller in the 84th minute of the match. Dale Kirkpatrick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lyle Flanagan having to make a save. Lyle Flanagan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 88 minutes of play, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Cristiano Trezeguet made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Drew Casey was left in no man's land by his defense there! University of Rochester's Drew Casey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save University of Rochester from getting a goal against them. Wayne Bragg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Skark in the 94th minute of play. Stig-Ove Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
