Bryant Miles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Peter Hood hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Leary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riley Trotter in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrod Leary saved Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting behind. Jarrod Leary showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Trotter, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Jarrod Leary reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Larry Cermak replaced Xu Yuan Lin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Gines to make the kick off. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Jarrod Leary played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Gines in the 65th minute of play. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Chance Adams was substituted for Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson. Chance Adams's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryant Miles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Creekers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Hood took the corner. In the 70th minute, Sylvesteri Valkama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Riley Trotter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Creekers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Miami Futbol Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Riley Trotter got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Chance Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Creekers's Xavier Salazar was substituted for Ladislao Gines. Bryant Miles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chance Adams in the 82nd minute of play. Jarrod Leary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavier Salazar in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Salazar got free with Jarrod Leary in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 97 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Leevi Kampman. For all the effort they put into the match, the Creekers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Racing Miami Futbol Club.
